GCP Account Manager West Region Description - Job Summary • This is the primary selling role for HP Industrial Print. This role is responsible for understanding, communicating and selling HP Industrial Print products, using consultative selling techniques to engage with clients, and creating customized solutions. The role manages the sales pipeline, creates competitive sales strategies, and handles challenging situations in collaboration with others in the GSB organization. The role stays updated on industry trends and does all they are capable of doing to over-achieve quota. Responsibilities Over achieve quota on a bi-annual basis. • Demonstrates a complete understanding of the organization’s products and services while explaining product features and benefits to potential customers. • Offers technical expertise and support to the customers and prospects and utilizes all resources necessary to win business. • Utilizes various sales and marketing techniques to identify and engage with potential clients and helps in tailoring sales pitches and solutions. • Creates and presents customized solutions or proposals that address the client's needs and demonstrate the alignment of the organization’s offerings with the client’s business objectives. • Maintains strong relationships with existing clients providing ongoing support, addressing client concerns, and actively seeking opportunities for upselling or cross-selling. • Develops pursuit plans and manages the sales pipeline to ensure alignment with the organizations revenue goals. • Utilizes domain-specific knowledge to craft competitive sales strategies to better position the organization’s offerings in the market. • Handles challenging situations like negotiations, and client escalations to resolve issues in a professional and timely manner. • Attends industry events and seminars to stay updated on new techniques and technologies and continuously adapt in a rapidly changing business environment to enhance their sales efforts. • Guides junior team members to help them enhance their sales and consulting skills and support their professional growth. Education & Experience Recommended • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence. Degree is helpful but not necessary. • Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in technical selling, consultative selling, account management, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience. Has an excellent understanding of the commercial printing and in-plant printing business model. Preferred Certifications NA Knowledge & Skills • Creating compelling proposals. The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this role is $162,050 to $254,450 USD annually with a 50%/50% (salary/incentive) mix.
