<strong>Role:Senior Oracle Apps DBA Migration Lead REMOTE<br><br>Location: USA - REMOTE<br><br></strong><strong>Duration: Long Term<br><br>Position Summary<br><br></strong>The Senior Oracle Apps DBA (Migration Lead) will lead the database and application migration activities for Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) 12.2 environments migrating to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The role requires deep expertise in Oracle EBS administration, Oracle Database 19c, migration planning, performance tuning, and execution of cutover activities.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Lead Oracle EBS 12.2 migration activities from on-premises environments to OCI.</li><li>Administer and support Oracle EBS applications and Oracle Database 19c environments.</li><li>Develop migration plans, cutover runbooks, rollback procedures, and validation checklists.</li><li>Perform database upgrades, cloning, patching, and refresh activities.</li><li>Configure and manage Oracle Cloud Manager for migration and lifecycle management.</li><li>Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Oracle databases and EBS application tiers.</li><li>Coordinate migration testing, rehearsal cutovers, and production deployment activities.</li><li>Troubleshoot migration issues and ensure successful transition to OCI.</li><li>Document operational procedures and migration deliverables.</li><li>Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams throughout the project lifecycle.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Required Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Minimum 10 years of Oracle Applications DBA experience.</li><li>At least two (2) Oracle EBS migration projects completed within the last five (5) years (mandatory).</li><li>Extensive experience with Oracle EBS 12.2 administration.</li><li>Strong expertise with Oracle Database 19c.</li><li>Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Manager.</li><li>Proven experience developing and executing migration cutover runbooks.</li><li>Strong performance tuning and troubleshooting skills.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>OCI certification(s).</li><li>Experience supporting FedRAMP-compliant environments.</li><li>Experience with high-availability and disaster recovery configurations.</li></ul>
