ABOUT THE ROLE YETI is looking for a Senior Director, Retail Stores - Americas to lead the full retail strategy and commercial performance of our growing fleet of YETI stores across North America. Reporting to the SVP, Americas, this leader is accountable for creating an elevated, industry-leading consumer experience that drives revenue, profitability, and brand advocacy across every store. Grounded in deep understanding of consumer behavior and premium retail operations, this role will define the direction for store performance, lead and develop high-performing teams, and ensure YETI shows up with excellence in every interaction. This leader will own a consistent operational vision, strengthen omni‑channel integration, and steward the brand at retail. WHAT YOU’LL DO Own Growth & Operational Excellence Lead revenue, profitability, and KPI performance across the YETI store portfolio. Build annual and weekly operating plans with Finance; adjust strategies quickly to drive results. Analyze store performance trends, customer feedback, operational costs, and risks to identify opportunities for efficiency, cost savings, and elevated customer experience. Lead the Retail Strategy Establish and articulate YETI’s retail strategy across regions and levels of the organization. Turn consumer, operational, and competitive insights into decisions about store formats, staffing models, service standards, and in‑store experiences. Define the future of YETI stores and champion initiatives that enhance our premium brand positioning. Drive Operational Execution Ensure stores deliver consistent, memorable customer experiences that align with YETI’s brand identity. Oversee all inventory and internal controls, asset protection strategies, shrink reduction, cycle counts, and annual physical inventories. Streamline operational processes to create seamless, efficient, and scalable ways of working across the fleet. Lead & Develop High-Performing Teams Lead and develop a nationwide team of Regional Managers, District Managers, Store Experience Leaders, Assistant Store Experience Leaders, Keyholders and Guides. Build a culture that emphasizes exceptional customer service, brand knowledge, operational precision, and team selling. Ensure strong onboarding, leadership development, and training programs that support role success and career growth. Strengthen Omni-Channel Integration Partner with eCommerce, Wholesale Operations, IT, and cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive omni‑channel experience. Identify and close system gaps that hinder operational flow, customer engagement, or inventory visibility. Shape Brand Presence in Stores Own the merchandising strategy to ensure a consistent, premium YETI brand expression in every location. Partner with Construction and Retail Project Management teams to support new store openings, remodels, and expansions. WHAT YOU BRING Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years of retail experience, including 10+ years leading multi‑store retail teams. Proven ability to set and execute a premium retail strategy for a high-growth, consumer‑centric brand. Strong track record in achieving retail KPIs, operational excellence, and driving P&L performance. Deep understanding of customer journeys within an integrated omni‑channel environment. Experience overseeing merchandising, inventory management, and asset protection. Executive-level communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions. Demonstrated success in coaching, developing, and leading large, distributed teams. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced ‑paced environment and manage competing priorities. Success of new store openings and store expansion plans. LOCATION & TRAVEL Based in Austin, TX.
