ABOUT THE JOB (JOB BRIEF)

This role focuses on strategic business enablement and execution, translating business strategy into well‑coordinated, actionable initiatives that support client acquisition, deepening, and retention efforts. The Consumer Consultant partners closely with internal stakeholders, field leaders, and support partners to plan, coordinate, and drive initiatives from concept through implementation. The Consumer Consultant is responsible for capacity planning, project planning, communication readiness, and operational execution, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, aligned with strategic priorities, and supported by clear, consistent materials and processes. This role regularly presents recommendations, updates, and execution progress to senior and executive leadership.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Partners with business leaders and support teams to enable strategic initiatives through effective planning, coordination, and execution
  • Develops and drives operational and project plans aligned to business strategies and priorities
  • Leads and coordinates peer activity across consumer initiatives related to acquisition, deepening relationships, retention, field support, and innovation
  • Manages capacity planning across multiple initiatives to ensure resources are aligned to priorities and delivery commitments
  • Coordinates project timelines, dependencies, milestones, and deliverables across cross‑functional teams
  • Recommends opportunities to improve execution effectiveness, scalability, and alignment across client segments
  • Manages tracking and communication of progress against business goals, risks, and deliverables
  • Keeps regular contact with field advocates to ensure readiness, alignment, and awareness
  • Ensures initiatives are executed according to on‑time and quality delivery standards
  • Coordinates client treatment scenarios as needed to support initiative execution
  • Reviews progress, decisions, risks, and exceptions with senior management
  • Drives execution excellence by effectively managing priorities, pace, scope, quality, cost, and risk
  • Edits, designs, and formats initiative materials to ensure professional, executive‑ready and field‑ready communications
  • Owns or supports SharePoint site design, structure, formatting, and content maintenance to support initiative communications, documentation, and collaboration
  • Ensures communication materials are clear, consistent, accessible, and operationally ready ahead of launches

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field and/or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in financial services
  • Demonstrated project management leadership experience organizing, planning, and executing multi‑functional initiatives from vision through implementation
  • Strong process management, planning, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to business partners, field teams, and senior leaders
  • Superior teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across all management levels
  • Proven ability to partner effectively with geographically diverse teams and support partners
  • Strong knowledge of financial products (e.g., deposit, credit, and investment products)
  • Experience with collaboration and content platforms such as SharePoint, including editing, formatting, and site organization
  • High attention to detail with strong editing and communication‑quality standards

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
