We are embracing AI in the ways serve clients and building AI into the solutions that we build.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>What You’ll Do</u></strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong><em>Data Pipeline Development:</em></strong></p><ul><li>Assist in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines for ETL/ELT processes.</li><li>Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources (e.g., databases, APIs, cloud storage).</li><li>Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to understand data requirements.</li><li>Support the development and maintenance of data models, data warehouses, and data lakes.</li><li>Help ensure data quality, consistency, security, and availability across the organization.</li><li>Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.</li><li>Document systems, workflows, and data definitions.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><em>Data Visualization:</em></strong></p><ul><li>Create interactive dashboards, often using Power BI, to effectively communicate complex data insights.</li><li>Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and translate business needs into compelling visualizations.</li><li>Design and implement data models, calculations, and KPIs to support dashboard development.</li><li>Ensure data accuracy and integrity by conducting thorough data validation and testing.</li><li>Write SQL queries to retrieve, manipulate, and aggregate data from relational databases.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><em>Data Analysis:</em></strong></p><ul><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges, define data requirements, and develop meaningful metrics for tracking data governance improvements.</li><li>Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in insurance data.</li><li>Collect, cleanse, and validate data from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.</li><li>Prepare clear and concise reports, visualizations, and presentations to communicate data findings to stakeholders.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><em>Client Engagement:</em></strong></p><ul><li>Participate in client meetings, workshops, and presentations to understand client objectives and challenges.</li><li>Build strong relationships with client stakeholders by collaborating to develop high-quality deliverables.</li><li>Communicate findings in a clear and concise manner.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><em>Continuous Learning and Professional Development:</em></strong></p><ul><li>Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in data analytics, data management and governance, and consulting.</li><li>Develop expertise in advanced analytics techniques.</li><li>Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives by sharing insights, experiences, and emerging trends and technologies related to data management and data governance in the insurance industry.</li><li>Encourage a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong></p><ul><li>1-2 years of experience in a data analytics or data management role with knowledge of data governance concepts.</li><li>Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field such as computer science, engineering, natural sciences, mathematics, statistics, or a related discipline.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to assess complex data management challenges and develop practical solutions.</li><li>Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>Proficiency in data management tools and technologies, such as data governance platforms, data quality tools, and data visualization tools.
