The Sales Engineer works in tandem with Direct Sales Team, Product, and Professional Services to provide and demonstrate customized environments to help address prospect scenarios during the sales process. This position reports to the Lead Sales Engineer.


Responsibilities

  • Work in tandem with Direct Sales Team, Product, and Professional Services to develop customized environments to help address prospect scenarios during the sales process.
  • Contribute and/or lead prospect specific inquiries/scoping projects around implementation, nCino Support models, technical configuration, security, and/or data integration
  • Perform detailed analysis of technical requirements during sales cycle
  • Demonstrate implementing Salesforce.com security including roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows and groups within an nCino demonstration environment.
  • Demonstrate creating Salesforce.com custom objects, fields and editing page layouts within an nCino demonstration environment.
  • Demonstrate creating Workflow and Approval Processes within an nCino demonstration environment
  • Create dashboards and reports to represent prospect specific
  • Load or export data via the Apex Data Loader and other tools
  • Lead training webinars for internal nCino to explain recent release functionality, demonstration environment configuration and behavior.
  • Maintain training materials for new hires to help get them up to speed on the internal demonstration environment.
  • Collaborate with other members of Pre-sales to understand prospect’s technical requirements and specific needs based on demonstrations and conversations


Qualifications

Required:

  • 2 years full-time Salesforce Administration or Implementation experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Hands-on SalesForce.com/nCino administration and/or implementation skills
  • Proficient in SFDC Administrative tasks such as creating Profiles, Roles, Users, Page Layouts, Email Services, Approvals, Workflows, Reports, Dashboards, Tasks and Events
  • Experience designing Custom Formula Fields, Field Dependencies, Validation Rules, Work Flows, and Approval Processes for automated alerts, field updates, and Email generation per application requirements
  • Highly professional with strong communication skills especially in solving complex credit related challenges in the financial services industry


Desired:

  • Knowledge of Apex, Visual Force, JavaScript / Knockout Development
  • Knowledge of SAS Security standards specific to the financial services industry
  • Data management skills, including advanced Excel and SOQL skills
  • Experience with maintaining and administering SF TSO/TMO environments
  • Salesforce.com certification
  • Degree in Computer Science or MIS
  • Strong research, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills

Travel Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 40%
