<p><strong>Job Title: Painter</strong><p><strong>Job Description</strong><p>We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and painting surfaces on various equipment and structures. You will utilize your expertise in precision measurement, Geometric Dimensions and Tolerances (GD&T), and industrial painting techniques to ensure high-quality finishes.<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Uphold and exemplify company values.</li><li>Demonstrate proper use of precision measurement tools and apply GD&T principles.</li><li>Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, and work orders.</li><li>Apply primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces for finishing.</li><li>Paint, stain, varnish, enamel, or apply other finishes using brushes, spray guns, or rollers.</li><li>Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect during painting.</li><li>Remove old finishes using stripping, sanding, wire brushing, or burning.</li><li>Treat surfaces with oil, turpentine, rust remover, and sand rough spots.</li><li>Mix and match paint colors and apply special finishing techniques.</li><li>Cut stencils and apply lettering or decorations on surfaces.</li><li>Assemble and operate paint spraying equipment, compressor, and HVLP equipment.</li><li>Monitor and control proper disposal of paint-related waste.</li><li>Maintain and clean all painting equipment and maintain certification as a Rigger.</li><li>Prepare materials for painting by mixing coatings in proper quantities.</li><li>Apply specified coatings to products accurately and assure quality.</li><li>Follow instructions and guidelines for manufacturing methods.</li><li>Demonstrate proper techniques with industrial airless and conventional spray painting.</li><li>Cross-train and maintain certification across all operations.</li><li>Meet expectations in time, budget, quality, and materials.</li><li>Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Essential Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum 2 years of related painting experience.</li><li>High School Diploma or GED.</li><li>Drug-Free.</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Skills & Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Apprenticeship or formal training in the area of specialty preferred.</li><li>Skilled in the use of plural pump and conventional pot work.</li><li>Prior experience with Mil-Spec Painting.</li></ul><p><strong>Why Work Here?</strong><p>Join a well-known large company with a strong presence throughout the United States.
