Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Junior IT Support Officer (Remote) to join our growing global team. As an integral part of our IT support operations, you will be the first point of contact for technical assistance within the organization. You will troubleshoot software and hardware issues, support remote employees, maintain systems, and escalate unresolved queries to higher-level support staff. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line remote technical support to internal employees via chat, email, or phone.

  • Troubleshoot issues related to software, hardware, operating systems, and networks.

  • Log all support interactions in the ticketing system and follow up to ensure resolution.

  • Install, configure, and maintain basic computer systems and software applications.

  • Assist in maintaining IT documentation and knowledge bases.

  • Collaborate with senior IT staff for escalations and complex technical problems.

  • Support end-user access and permissions, including password resets and user account maintenance.

  • Monitor system performance and report anomalies or irregularities to the IT Manager.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical terms in simple language.

  • Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows/macOS/Linux).

  • Familiarity with cloud-based tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).

  • Understanding of IT service management practices (e.g., ticketing systems like Zendesk, Freshdesk, or Jira).

  • Ability to follow technical documentation and standard procedures.

  • Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn.

Experience

  • 0–2 years of experience in an IT support, helpdesk, or technical assistance role.

  • Recent graduates with relevant certifications or internships are encouraged to apply.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position

  • Flexible schedule between 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM based on your local time zone

  • Some availability may be required during peak service hours or emergencies
