Your Role

The Arbitrum Foundation is searching for a Head of Foundation, who will be at the forefront of driving the Arbitrum Foundation’s mission and expanding its presence in Web3 and amongst competing blockchain ecosystems. This candidate will be highly influential in the future success of the Foundation, as they will uncover future growth opportunities while defining and executing a clear strategic vision for the Foundation.

  • Your Responsibilities
  • Lead the Mission: Drive the Arbitrum Foundation’s business development efforts and discover untapped growth opportunities.
  • Public Figure: Appear on multiple stages each year and stand up for Arbitrum against the greatest minds in Web3 and Blockchain.
  • Strategic Vision: Define our Foundation and Ecosystem strategy in collaboration with our Board of Directors and other internal stakeholders.
  • Forge Strong Bonds: Establish and maintain key partnerships with stakeholders in the Web3 ecosystem and Web2 enterprises exploring Web3.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with cross-functional teams within the Foundation to identify, prioritize and seize new opportunities.
  • Raise Awareness: Recognise potential within the Arbitrum ecosystem and spotlight partner and community contributions.
  • What You'll Need
  • 10+ years experience in business development, fostering strategic partnerships, as well as a relative role within the Web3, Blockchain, or technology sectors.
  • Strong presence as a public figure in the Web3/blockchain space, with experience representing a brand or ecosystem at major conferences, panels, and events. Comfort with engaging top-tier audiences and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to define and execute long-term strategic plans, especially in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Experience shaping ecosystem growth strategies that align with overarching business objectives.
  • Strong track record in establishing, nurturing, and maintaining relationships with key partners, including developers, stakeholders, and influencers in the Web3 ecosystem.
  • Excellent collaborative skills with experience working across departments (e.g., marketing, product, operations) to execute strategic initiatives and drive collective success.
