You Are: Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service Consultant The Work:

The Oracle EDMCS Consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, and governing enterprise‑wide master‑data management (MDM) and metadata workflows using Oracle Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service. This role enables consistent, accurate, and controlled data structures across ERP, EPM, analytics, and downstream operational systems. The consultant ensures metadata integrity, standardized governance, and alignment with financial and operational reporting across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure EDMCS applications, views, node types, hierarchies, properties, validation rules, and workflows
  • Define metadata‑governance structures for ERP and EPM, including chart of accounts, planning dimensions, project metadata, and reporting hierarchies
  • Establish request workflows, approvals, security models, and subscription mappings to downstream systems
  • Create and enforce governance processes to ensure metadata consistency across Oracle ERP, EPBCS, FCCS, ARCS, PCMCS, and analytics platforms
  • Standardize change‑management practices for dimensions, attributes, hierarchies, and corporate structures
  • Lead metadata‑harmonization initiatives across business units to support financial and operational reporting alignment
  • Manage integration flows between EDMCS and ERP/EPM applications (EPBCS, FCCS, ARCS, GL, Projects)
  • Oversee subscription mappings, export/import workflows, and data‑set synchronization
  • Ensure dimensional structures, hierarchies, and attributes correctly propagate to target applications
Here's What You Need:
  • Hands‑on experience with Oracle EDMCS in configuration, governance, and metadata management
  • Strong understanding of metadata relationships across Oracle ERP and EPM (EPBCS, FCCS, ARCS, PCMCS)
  • Familiarity with chart‑of‑accounts design, planning dimensions, consolidation structures, and analytic hierarchies
  • Experience supporting enterprise financial or operational data‑governance functions
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and coordination skills
