About the Role The eDiscovery Innovation Team at FTI Consulting is expanding rapidly as we make key investments in applying Generative AI and Machine Learning to some of the world’s biggest disputes, investigations, and litigations. Applied Scientists should have a pragmatic approach to problem-solving and be capable of developing end-to-end solutions that clients can rely on in production. They should be capable of challenging their own work and finding a balance between perfection and practicality. What You’ll Do Prototype, validate, and implement AI/ML solutions on diverse and constantly evolving client datasets Apply the latest LLMs in Azure OpenAI and AWS Bedrock to tasks like: summarization classification entity extraction text-to-query language generation Develop RAG pipelines, semantic search, and hybrid search Create and implement new metrics, evaluation pipelines, and internal training/test datasets Survey, test, and critique use of emerging technologies to enhance existing solutions and develop new capabilities. Share your work with clients and colleagues and to both technical and non-technical audiences. You will help lead the way in the adoption of AI across the enterprise. Compensation Minimum Pay: $101,500 Maximum Pay: $142,000 Compensation Disclosure: The compensation range reflects potential base salary for the role.
