We are a fast-growing, early-stage company focused on expanding access to care through strong partnerships with leading oncology providers.</p><h1><strong>About the Role</strong></h1><p style="min-height:1.5em">The Clinical Recruiter plays a pivotal role in building Protocol's clinical workforce by identifying, attracting, and hiring Behavioral Health Care Managers (BHCMs). This role owns full-cycle recruitment for our core clinical function, partnering closely with clinical leadership and operations to ensure we hire high-quality, mission-aligned clinicians efficiently and at scale.</p><p style="min-height:1.5em">Reporting to the Head of People, this individual will be a critical partner in scaling Protocol's ability to deliver care. This role is well-suited for a recruiter who thrives in fast-paced, mission-driven environments and has experience sourcing licensed behavioral health professionals.</p><h1><strong>In This Role You Will</strong></h1><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Own full-cycle recruitment for Behavioral Health Care Manager (BHCM) roles, from sourcing and screening through offer and onboarding handoff</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Develop and execute sourcing strategies to build a strong pipeline of licensed mental health clinicians (LCSWs, LPCs, LMFTs, psychologists, and pre-licensed candidates in target time zones)</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Screen candidates for licensure status, clinical experience, cultural fit, and alignment with Protocol's collaborative care model</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Partner with clinical and operations leadership to understand staffing needs, time-zone coverage gaps, and partner site requirements</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Maintain accurate tracking of all candidates and pipeline activity in the ATS, ensuring data integrity and timely follow-up</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Coordinate interview logistics, including scheduling with clinical leadership and managing candidate communications throughout the process</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Manage offer processes in partnership with leadership, including compensation guidance, offer letter preparation, and candidate close</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Support onboarding coordination by ensuring new hires have completed credentialing, background checks, and pre-start requirements</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Build and maintain relationships with clinical training programs, social work schools, and behavioral health professional networks to develop evergreen talent pipelines</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Track and report on recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, pipeline health, and offer acceptance rates</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Identify and implement process improvements to support scalable, efficient clinical hiring as Protocol grows</p></li></ul><h1><strong>Who Are We Looking For?</strong></h1><h2><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">3 to 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with at least 2 years focused on licensed behavioral health, clinical, or healthcare services roles</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Demonstrated experience recruiting licensed mental health clinicians (LCSWs, LPCs, LMFTs, or similar); familiarity with state licensure requirements and multi-state licensing a strong plus</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience working with an ATS (e.g. Ashyby, Greenhouse, Lever) with strong attention to pipeline data integrity</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent Protocol's mission authentically to clinical candidates</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Comfort operating with ambiguity and building scalable processes in an early-stage environment</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">High level of ownership, urgency, and follow-through; ability to drive candidates and hiring managers through the process efficiently</p></li></ul><h2><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></h2><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience recruiting for telehealth, collaborative care, or integrated behavioral health settings</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Familiarity with oncology, chronic illness, or specialty medical environments</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience building evergreen talent pipelines for high-volume or hard-to-fill clinical roles</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Background in healthcare staffing, clinical operations, or people operations at a high-growth healthcare startup</p></li></ul><h1><strong>Why Work at Protocol?</strong></h1><p style="min-height:1.5em">Working at Protocol Behavioral Health means joining a mission-driven team focused on improving outcomes for cancer patients through integrated behavioral health care.
